400 golfers to join 18th Durian Tee

More than 400 golfers are again expected to join the 18th edition of the Durian Tee on November 29 to 30 and December 1 to 2 at the Apo Golf and Country Club.
Club's General Manager Martin Misa said they are ready to host the number of golfers who will not come only from Davao City but also from Manila, Dumaguete, Tacloban, Zamboanga City, Cebu City, Cagayan de Oro City and Gen.Santos City.
Kar Asia Inc. has lined-up a Mitsubishi Fusion GLX as hole-in-one prize while the other hole-in-one prizes are P500,000 courtesy of JTL Insurance Agency and Yamaha Golf Cart.
On Thursday's Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at the Tower Inn, he said that entry fee is P2,000 only for members but non-members will have to pay P1,000 more. A Nautica jacket is the tournament's giveaway.
The 36-hole, Stableford System format is chiefly backed by Kar Asia Inc. and supported by JLBP Manpower Services, Wilson Sports, Monark Equipment Corp., UMBN, H2Zero Distilled Drinking Water, DCWD, Medsa, BHI Group of Companies, Kart Plaza, Anflocor Management Corp. and Mabuhay Exchange Trading.
