AIBA Jrs gold medalist to grace PSA Forum

AIBA Junior World Boxing Championships gold medal winner Eumir Felix Marcial joins the Philippine team bound for the Asian Boxing Championships on Tuesday’s session of the PSA Forum at Shakey’s U.N. Ave.
       The 15-year-old Marcial is facing the country’s sportswriting fraternity fresh from his golden feat in the tough ring tilt held at Astana, Kazakshtan and featuring some of the finest junior boxers in the world.
       He and the boxing team competing in the Asian meet to be hosted by Incheon, South Korea, will be accompanied in the forum aired live over DZSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Smart, PACGOR, Outlast Battery and Shakey’s, by Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines (ABAP) executive director Ed Picson.
       Also appearing in the 10:30 a.m. public sports program are Philippine Football Federation (PFF) president Mariano `Nonong’ Araneta Jr. and Epok Quimpo of  Smart Sports as they talk about the resumption of the PFF-Smart Club championships this Aug. 9-12 in Cagayan de Oro and Iloilo, respectively.(PSA PR)
